[Tweets] Ozil welcomes Mustafi to Arsenal before poking fun at him

Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to welcome Shkodran Mustafi to Arsenal before poking fun at his new team mates dance moves.

After weeks of negotiations, Mustafi finally completed his protracted move to Arsenal with the club announcing on Tuesday night that the defender had joined from Valencia.

As usual, no official fee has been disclosed but the BBC claim we’ve paid around £35m for the 24-year-old with Mustafi understood to have signed a five-year contract.

Shortly after the announcement was made, Ozil took to Twitter to welcome his compatriot to Arsenal before the playmaker poked fun at his fellow German international for his questionable dance moves.

Ozil uploaded a video to the social networking site of Mustafi dancing with new Arsenal team mate Per Mertesacker at what appears to be at a party with a message saying he hopes to see his dance moves at Arsenal soon.

Mustafi then responded to Mesut’s tweet by saying he hopes he’ll join him next time on the dance floor as the players exchanged some ‘banter’ on Twitter. The defender also posted a message saying he can’t wait to play for his new club.

It’s great that Mustafi has two German players in the squad to help him settle and I’m sure it will make the transition a lot easier for the defender to have two close friends already at Arsenal.
