FA Cup Preview: Arsenal v Hull, Team News, Line-Up & Prediction

Arsenal will look to stretch their unbeaten record to 15 FA Cup games when we take on Hull City at the Emirates tomorrow afternoon.
We should know this opposition well as this will be the third consecutive season we’ve faced the Tigers in the FA Cup, and I’m sure you’ll all remember our stunning comeback win in the 2014 final to end our long trophy drought.
Thankfully, we have higher aspirations these days as we’ve got an excellent chance to win the Premier League trophy following last weekend’s dramatic win over Leicester City.
However, that’s not to say we shouldn’t take the FA Cup seriously as we’d all love to win it for a third consecutive season, but nobody can argue that our focus should be on the league during the second half of the campaign.
Team News
Koscielny is expected to pass a late fitness and and be available for selection after recovering from a dead leg that forced him off against Leicester last weekend.
Gabriel has been ruled out for a further week with a hamstring injury so he remains on the sidelines with long-term victims Wilshere, Cazorla and Rosicky.
Wenger is set to rest some key men with Cech, Monreal, Ramsey, Ozil and Sanchez among those expected to be given a breather.
Ospina is set to start in goal while Arsene has dropped a strong hint that Elneny and Welbeck will also start. I’d also expect to see the likes of Chambers, Gibbs and Campbell come back in to the side.
Hull won’t be able to call upon Arsenal loanees Hayden or Akpom as they can’t face their parent club and boss Steve Bruce has confirmed he’ll make plenty of changes to his side as he wants to concentrate on gaining promotion from the Championship.
Preferred Line-Up
Prediction
We’ll have to wait and see what kind of line-up Wenger goes with but with so many players back from injury, we’ve now got a squad capable of coping with heavy rotation so I’d still expect to see us safely progress with minimal fuss tomorrow. Hull are going to field a weakened team themselves and we should have way too much for their second string. I’m going for a comfortable win….Arsenal 3-0 Hull
