Tweets: Mesut Ozil thanks fans on Twitter after Arsenal beat Zagreb
Mesut Ozil has thanked the Arsenal fans for ‘assisting us’ after Arsenal beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 last night to keep alive our hopes of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Ozil was in outstanding form once again as he opened Zagreb up on numerous occasions with his precision passing and he also opened the scoring with a rare headed goal in the first half.
After the game, the German took to Twitter to thank the fans and express his delight that qualification from the group is now back in our own hands.
Aaron Ramsey made his comeback from injury with a second half sub appearance and he too posted a message on Twitter along with Hector Bellerin and Calum Chambers.
