Tweets: Ozil & Gibbs react on Twitter to Arsenal’s draw with Spurs
Mesut Ozil and Kieran Gibbs have reacted online after Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
Ozil was our most dangerous player with the German schemer setting-up Gibbs to score the equaliser with 13 minutes remaining
It meant Ozil has now assisted at least one goal in six consecutive Premier League games – which is a new record. He should have had at least one more assist yesterday had it not been for Giroud’s woeful finishing!
After the match the former Real Madrid playmaker posted a message on Twitter saying it was a shame we didn’t get the three points we needed to climb to the top of the league but is ready to go again after the international break.
Gibbs made a real impact after coming off the bench and he also uploaded a photo and message to his Twitter saying he was glad to get on the score-sheet to secure a hard fought point.
