Photos: 13 Youngsters Train With Arsenal First Team Ahead Of Cup Tie
A whole host of Young Guns were promoted to train with the first team squad on Monday afternoon as Arsenal prepare to take on Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night.
We head to Hillsborough on Tuesday in the Capital One Cup fourth round and it looks as though Arsene Wenger is ready to hand several of his young talents a taste of the first team squad.
In total, 13 youngster were allowed to train with some of the first team at London Colney today and I think the pictures below give us a good idea of who’ll be involved tomorrow.
Flamini, Walcott, Mertesacker, Chambers, Debuchy, Gibbs and of course Cech – who Arsene has already confirmed will start the game – all look set to be involved.
The first teamers were joined in training by Alex Iwobi, Ben Sheaf, Marc Bola, Krystian Bielik, Marcus Agyei-Tabi, Reiss Nelson, Ismael Bennacer, Savvas Mourgos, Donyell Malen, Joshua Dasilva, Glen Kamara, Matt Macey and Julio Pleguezuelo.
We’ll have to wait and see which of the youngsters will be selected to be in the squad but it’s good to see them being given a chance to impress.
