Video: Arsenal’s Joel Campbell scores winner for Costa Rica vs USA
Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell was in action for his country last night and he reminded Arsene Wenger what he’s capable of after scoring the winner during Costa Rica’s 1-0 friendly win over the United States of America.
Campbell started in attack for the visitors and grabbed the only goal of the game 20 minutes from time as he cooly slotted home from the edge of the box.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move away from the Emirates in the summer but ended up staying at the club after we failed to bring in another striker.
However, he’s struggled to make his mark in the Arsenal first team this season but at least he’s still showing us what he can do for his country. Maybe this goal will boost his confidence and help him break in to Arsene’s plans.
