2015/16 PL Fixtures Revealed: A Look At Key Arsenal Games
The fixtures for the 2015/16 Premier League season have revealed this morning and Arsenal will kick off the new campaign at home to West Ham.
We welcome the Hammers to the Emirates on the 8th August before making a short trip to Crystal Palace the following weekend.
The first big test comes when we entertain Liverpool on 22nd August before travelling up north to take on Newcastle United at St James.
It’s Stoke City up next at the Emirates before we head to Stamford Bridge to take on defending Champions Chelsea in mid-September.
So our opening six fixtures are:
West Ham [H]
Palace [A]
Liverpool [H]
Newcastle [A]
Stoke [H]
Chelsea [A]
It’s a pretty tricky start on paper but thankfully we don’t have any dangerous Champions League qualifiers to worry about this year.
We have to wait until November for the first North London Derby when we entertain Tottenham at the Emirates on the 7th, with the return leg on the 5th March.
The hectic festive period has been fairly kind to us as we’ll take on Manchester City at home on December 19th before making a short trip to Southampton on Boxing Day. We’re then at home to Bournemouth on Monday the 28th before welcoming Newcastle to North London on January 2nd.
So that’s three home games and a short trip to Southampton. I’ll take that.
Our run-in also looks favourable with our final six games being:
West Ham [A]
Crystal Palace [H]
Sunderland [A]
Norwich [H]
Man City [A]
Aston Villa [H]
Hopefully we’re still in the title race with six games to go as that’s a decent end of season run-in.
On the whole, the fixture list is positive. Our start is tricky but the festive period and run-in are favourable and we have no ‘death runs’ where we take on three or four of our key rivals in succession.

Here’s looking forward to the new season!!!
