Photos: Arsenal Injury Doubt Trains With Squad Ahead Of WBA Clash
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been taking part in full training today as he continues to work his way back to full fitness.
The midfielder has been on the sidelines for over two months after initially injuring his hamstring during our FA Cup win over Manchester United back in March.
Subsequent groin and hamstring injuries have delayed his comeback but Arsene Wenger confirmed at his pre-match press conference yesterday that The Ox was due to return to full training ahead of Arsenal’s clash with West Brom tomorrow.
The Ox isn’t expected to play any part in the game at the Emirates on Sunday but it’s great to see him back in training as he should now put himself in contention to return to the squad for next weeks FA Cup final.
Danny Welbeck and Mathieu Debuchy were also meant to be back in full training on Friday, but there was no sign of them in any of the photos published on Arsenal.com today – although that’s not to say they weren’t involved.
Here are some snaps of the Ox in training today courtesy of Arsenal.com:
