Photo: Arsenal Star Snapped In Training As He Pushes To Make Debut
Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista has been training with the Brazilian national team this week as he looks to make his senior debut in tonight’s friendly against France.
Gabriel joined Arsenal in January from Villarreal and has impressed during his five appearances in all competitions so far.
The 24-year-old was rewarded with his first call-up to the senior Brazil squad, replacing the injured David Luiz.
Gabriel described the call-up as a ‘dream’ and he’s been working hard in training this weeks to try and persuade coach Dunga to hand him his debut against France this evening.
Let’s hope Gabriel gets his wish and earns his first cap, but most importantly let’s pray he doesn’t pick up any injuries!
