Arsenal are reportedly prepared to seriously explore a deal for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, as per TEAMtalk.

Since moving to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu from Flamengo, the 25-year-old has enjoyed great success over the years, winning three La Liga titles, two Champions League trophies, and numerous other major cup competitions.

The forward even showcased his productivity last campaign, scoring 22 goals and notching up 10 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions.

Having proven his worth in club football, he has established himself as Brazil’s talismanic figure. He made five goal contributions in as many games for his country in the World Cup. Unfortunately, he couldn’t help Carlo Ancelotti’s side get past Norway’s challenge in the last-16.

Now, TEAMtalk claim that with Vinicius’ existing deal set to expire at the end of next season, Real Madrid are keen on keeping hold of him by tying him down to a fresh term.

They have even made a lucrative proposal to the South American, but he wants more money to commit his long-term future to the Spanish capital. However, Los Blancos are reluctant to meet his demands.

So, negotiations haven’t progressed at all between the two parties, and they are set to reopen talks over the coming days. But if Real Madrid eventually fail to agree on a fresh term with the player, they are prepared to cash-in on him this summer to avoid losing him for free in 2027.

Vinicius to Arsenal

The report state that Bayern Munich are keen on him and have been monitoring his situation closely. On the other hand, the Saudi Pro League are determined to sign Vinicius.

However, intermediaries close to the player have already held talks with the Premier League clubs, and Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool have all been kept informed about the situation.

Arsenal are prioritising revamping the left flank this summer and are prepared to seriously explore a deal to sign Vinicius if he becomes available this summer.

He is one of the best players in the world and is currently at the prime stage of his career. So, he would be a great coup for the North London club should they eventually manage to secure his services.
