Confirmed line-ups: West Ham vs Arsenal – Eze & Lewis-Skelly start for Gunners
Arsenal can move one step closer to winning the Premier League title with a win over West Ham at the London Stadium this afternoon.
We head into the game sitting two points ahead of Manchester City after they beat Brentford on Saturday. With three games remaining, a win over West Ham today would be a huge step towards the title for us.
The boss has named an unchanged line-up for the third consecutive game. That means Ben White starts once again at right-back in the absence of Jurrien Timber – who remains out with injury.
David Raya keeps goal once again while William Saliba partners Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle of the back four. Riccardo Calafiori is at left-back with Piero Hincapie named among the substitutes.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is fit to start in midfield after recovering from cramp that forced him off during the win over Atletico Madrid in midweek. Martin Zubimendi remains on the bench today.
Declan Rice starts against his former club while Eberechi Eze keeps his place in the attacking midfield role for Arsenal. Therefore, Martin Odegaard is among the substitutes this afternoon.
Bukayo Saka will be in buoyant mood after netting the winner to put us in the Champions League final and he starts once again on the right flank. Leandro Trossard keeps his place on the left so Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke miss out.
Viktor Gyokeres worked his socks off against Atletico but he keeps his place so Kai Havertz remains on the bench. Gabriel Jesus and Christian Norgaard don’t make the matchday squad showing just how many options Arteta has at his disposal.
These are the teams:
Arsenal
Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Eze, Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard.
Subs: Kepa, Mosquera, Hincapie, Zubimendi, Dowman, Odegaard, Martinelli, Havertz, Madueke
