Arsenal open talks to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick

By on May 5, 2026

Arsenal have reportedly made contact to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick, as per TEAMtalk.

After moving to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu from Brazilian side Palmeiras a couple of years ago, the 19-year-old played as a rotational option under former manager Carlo Ancelotti last term.

However, he struggled to find regular game time during the first half of this season under Xabi Alonso. So, he decided to join Olympique Lyonnais on loan in January to play regularly and develop his career.

The Brazilian has shown glimpses of his qualities at Groupama Stadium in recent months, scoring eight goals and registering seven assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.

Now, TEAMtalk claim that after being impressed by the youngster’s recent eye-catching performances, Arsenal and Chelsea have expressed their interest in him.

The Gunners and the Blues have even held talks with Los Blancos to enquire about the possibility of signing him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, the report state that with Alonso now gone, Real Madrid see Endrick as a key part of their long-term future and have no intention of letting him leave. The forward, meanwhile, is ready to stay and prove his worth in La Liga.

The South American is valued at around £30m by Transfermarkt and still has a contract until 2030 at the Spanish capital. So, Real Madrid aren’t in any rush to sell him, and Arsenal will have to launch an unrefusable proposal to persuade Los Blancos to change their stance.

Endrick to Arsenal

Endrick is a left-footed versatile forward. He is comfortable in the right flank and centre-forward positions. Moreover, he can provide cover as a second striker if needed.

The 19-year-old is quick, strong, technically sound, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas, has an eye for scoring goals from distance, and possesses poacher instinct inside the box.

Endrick is considered one of the best young attackers in the world and would be a great coup for Arsenal should they purchase him. However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually make a concrete approach to secure his services during the offseason.
