Arsenal exploring summer move for PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

By on March 26, 2026

Arsenal are exploring a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia next summer, according to The Independent.

Since his move to Napoli in 2022, the 25-year-old has been one of the most consistent forwards in Europe, winning several individual and club honours.

Since his move to PSG, the winger has been part of the Les Parisiens squad that won a historic quadruple, including Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Trophée des Champions, and the UEFA Champions League.

Such a level of trophy-laden top-flight success, along with a prolific goal-scoring and chance-creation ability, makes him a suitable fit for any ambitious top-flight team, and it’s no surprise Arsenal are now vying for him.

After a slow start to the season, where he struggled for consistency with just four goals and three assists in Ligue 1, the Georgian has returned to his rampaging best in the UEFA Champions League with seven goals and four assists, taking his overall goal contributions this season to 19 in all competitions.

Now, according to the Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Arsenal are ‘investigating’ a deal for the possible transfer of Kvaratskhelia to the Emirates Stadium next summer.

The report adds that the Gunners are looking to revamp their attack, with several departures expected to create room within financial regulations and free up funds for big-money moves for the likes of Kvaratskhelia.

Kvaratskhelia would be an upgrade

In a boost to the Premier League leaders, while PSG’s hierarchy would be reluctant to allow their key player to depart the Parc des Princes, the Georgian wingers’ camp are open to his exit amid interest from the Gunners, as per the report.

Mikel Arteta currently has Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and the versatile Noni Madueke as options on the left flank for Arsenal. However, none quite match the elite level of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who finished 12th in the 2025 Ballon d’Or standings.

The Georgian forward has proven himself on the biggest European stages, and his adaptability would bring added fluidity to Arteta’s system.

Despite his age, he has more experience, having secured multiple major honours — including two league titles and the UEFA Champions League, where he also found the net in the final.

Arsenal will need to back their interest with a significant offer, as PSG will likely demand proposals around his £77m Transfermarkt valuation to change their stance over the winger’s untouchable status.
