Arsenal have been linked with a possible summer move for Levante forward Karl Etta Eyong, according to reports from journalist Ben Jacobs.

The North London side are already planning ahead for the next transfer window as they look to strengthen key areas of the squad.

Mikel Arteta is believed to be keen on adding more depth and variety to his attacking options ahead of a demanding new season.

While Arsenal already have several forwards, the club feels another striker could help ease the load across competitions.

Eyong has emerged as one of the names being monitored closely following an impressive run of form in Spain this season.

Arsenal planning ahead

Arsenal’s recruitment team has continued to focus on players who can fit into Arteta’s tactical system and long term vision.

At just 22, Eyong still has room to develop, something Arsenal value highly when assessing transfer targets. This season, the Levante striker has scored six goals and provided three assists in 17 La Liga appearances.

The club is also aware that adding competition up front could help keep standards high across the squad.

Growing interest

However, Arsenal are not alone in their admiration for Eyong, with several major clubs keeping tabs on his situation.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest as they continue their own search for attacking reinforcements. Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be exploring the chance to sign the forward.

The striker is currently valued at around £17 million, according to Transfermarkt. That price could rise if more clubs decide to push ahead with formal offers in the summer.

Eyong stands at 6ft 1in and is known for his pace, strength, and direct approach in attack. He can operate through the middle or from wide areas, giving managers useful tactical flexibility.

His movement off the ball allows him to find space behind defenders, while his work rate remains a key strength. Eyong also shows a willingness to track back and support team play, something Arteta demands from his forwards.
