Arsenal tipped to sign PSG forward Bradley Barcola

By on January 7, 2026

Arsenal have been tipped to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, with a recent report suggesting the Frenchman could become available in January or next summer.

After moving to Parc des Princes from Olympique Lyonnais in 2023, he initially took time to settle before enjoying a stellar campaign last term, helping his side win the treble.

In 58 appearances across all competitions, the Frenchman netted 21 goals and registered 18 assists last campaign. He even helped his side reach the final of the Club World Cup last summer before losing to Chelsea.

However, he has failed to replicate last season’s form thus far this campaign, scoring five goals and notching up two assists in 16 starts in all tournaments.

Now, as per a recent report (via Football London), Barcola could become available in January or next summer after failing to dislodge Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from the first team.

The report tipped Arsenal to make a move for the 23-year-old to upgrade the left flank, with Gabriel Martinelli struggling to showcase his qualities in the Premier League in recent years.

Leandro Trossard has been featuring regularly in Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up this season, but he has entered his 30s and his existing deal is set to expire at the end of next season.

Barcola to Arsenal

Apart from the PSG star, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior or Rodrygo Goes could also become potential targets for Arsenal, with speculation surrounding the duo’s futures emerging in recent months.

Barcola is valued at around £61m by Transfermarkt and still has a contract until 2028. Therefore, Les Parisiens are in a strong position to demand a huge fee to let him leave.

The forward is a left-winger by trait but is also comfortable on the opposite side. He is quick, technically sound, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas, and also works hard without possession.

Barcola is a highly talented player and isn’t a finished article yet. He would be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him. However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually make a concrete approach to secure his services.
