Arsenal monitor Marseille teen forward Robinio Vaz
Arsenal are continuing their search for young talent and have now been linked with Marseille forward Robinio Vaz.
Reports from FootMercato, later picked up by CaughtOffside, suggest the Gunners are closely following the teenager’s progress.
The North London club have focused heavily on young players in recent years. Vaz is only 18 but has already made his mark in the Marseille first team.
He is currently part of the France Under-20 setup and is seen as one of their rising attackers. Marseille have trusted the youngster under Roberto De Zerbi this season. That faith has given him valuable minutes at senior level in a demanding league.
The forward has played 19 matches in all competitions so far. Across those outings, he has scored four goals and added two assists.
According to the same report, Marseille could listen to offers for the teenager. The club may consider a sale if the right proposal arrives.
Why Arsenal see Vaz as a strong fit
Arsenal are said to admire Vaz because of his flexible role in attack. He can play as a main striker or operate just behind another forward.
Vaz is known for his pace and strong frame. He uses his body well and can hold off defenders despite his young age. He is right-footed and shows good awareness inside the box.
His finishing has been sharp, especially when chances arrive quickly. Another key part of his game is his work without the ball.
He tracks back, presses defenders, and helps his team when needed. He also performs well in the air and often competes strongly for high balls.
Growing interest as Chelsea also watch closely
Arsenal are not the only club keeping tabs on Vaz. As per reports, Chelsea are also reported to be following his development at Marseille. The London side have been impressed by his steady rise this season. They see him as another young attacker with room to grow.
He can dribble past defenders and link play with teammates near the box. His shooting and physical traits have received strong praise so far. Those qualities make him a real threat in the final third.
With interest growing, Marseille face an important choice ahead. They must decide whether to keep building with Vaz or cash in early.
Adding another young forward could strengthen their future plans.
