Arsenal keen on Lille teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi
Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Lille’s promising midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to reports from TuttoJuve.
The Gunners, who have been in excellent form across all competitions this season, are looking to strengthen their squad with more young talent.
Under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have built a strong team with balance and depth in several positions.
The midfield is already packed with quality players such as Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Mikel Merino, Christian Nørgaard and Martin Ødegaard.
However, Arteta is said to be keen on adding another dynamic option to his ranks and Bouaddi has emerged as a target.
The 18-year-old has been attracting attention for his calmness on the ball and maturity beyond his age.
Since breaking into Lille’s first team, he has become a vital player, featuring in 13 matches so far this season.
His performances have impressed many, as he continues to show consistency in France’s top flight.
European giants show strong interest
As per TuttoJuve, Arsenal are showing a keen interest but they are not the only club after Bouaddi. Real Madrid are said to be keeping a close eye on the young midfielder, with reports claiming they have increased their scouting efforts in recent weeks.
Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with him, as his reputation continues to grow across Europe.
Bouaddi, a French under-21 international, has been one of the standout young talents in Ligue 1 this season.
His ability to control the tempo of a game and his vision in midfield have made him a sought-after player among top European sides.
The youngster is currently under contract with Lille until 2027, which puts the club in a strong position during any transfer talks.
The report suggests that he is valued at around £26 million, a fee that could rise further if his form continues to impress.
For Arsenal, signing Bouaddi would fit their long-term strategy of blending experienced stars with talented young players.
His arrival would add energy, creativity and competition in midfield, making the squad even stronger for the challenges ahead.
As the season progresses, Arsenal’s pursuit of Bouaddi could develop further, especially with several clubs likely to push hard for his signature.
