Arsenal ‘hopeful’ of signing Juventus star Kenan Yildiz

By on October 8, 2025

Arsenal are reportedly ‘hopeful’ of signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, as per a recent Italian report.

The 20-year-old joined the Bianconeri as a free agent back in 2022 before making his first team debut the following year. He has now established himself as an integral part of the Italian giants’ starting XI, making 15 goal contributions last term.

The youngster even made four goal contributions in as many games in the Club World Cup this summer, helping his side reach the round of 16.

He has taken his game to another level this season, scoring two great goals vs Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund and registering four assists in eight appearances across all competitions.

Having showcased his qualities in the Italian top flight in recent times, Yildiz has secured his place in the Turkish national team’s starting line-up.

As per a recent Italian report (via ESPN), after being impressed by the forward, Arsenal have registered their interest in signing him and could make a concrete approach next year.

However, Igor Tudor’s side have no intention of letting him leave and are looking to tie him down to a fresh term until 2030. Still, Arsenal haven’t been put off by that and are ‘hopeful’ of signing him.

Yildiz to Arsenal

The youngster already has a contract until 2029 with the record Italian champions and is valued at around £65m. So, they aren’t in any rush to sell him next year.

Yildiz is a versatile forward, as he likes to play on the left flank but is also comfortable in the creative midfield position. He is technically sound, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas, has an eye for scoring goals from distance, is efficient in creating opportunities for fellow attackers, and also works hard without possession.

Yildiz is a highly talented player and possesses the potential to reach the top. Therefore, he would be a great coup for Arsenal should they purchase him.

However, having already got Ethan Nwaneri, Eberechi Eze, and Martin Odegaard as CAM options, and Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard for the left flank, Arsenal don’t need to invest more to upgrade these positions unless anyone leaves.
