Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Olympiacos – Odegaard and Gabriel start for Gunners
Arsenal are back in Champions League action as we take on Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
We head into the game off the back of a dramatic 2-1 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League. Gabriel Magalhaes powered home a header in stoppage time to secure the comeback as Arsenal took home a vital three points.
Focus now turns to Europe as we look to make it two wins from two games after our impressive 2-0 win at Athletic Bilbao in our opening league phase match last month.
Mikel Arteta has rotated his squad with several changes from the side that beat Newcastle. David Raya keeps his place in goal but both full-backs change with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ben White coming in for Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber.
William Saliba and Gabriel both start in the heart of Arsenal’s defence so Cristhian Mosquera has to settle for a place on the bench. Martin Zubimendi anchors the midfield again but Declan Rice is given a rest with Mikel Merino coming in.
Eberechi Eze is also dropped to the bench with Martin Odegaard recalled to start after impressing off the bench on Sunday. Bukayo Saka is given a breather as Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli support Viktor Gyokeres in the Arsenal attack.
These are the teams:
Arsenal
Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Zubimendi, Merino, Odegaard, Trossard, Martinelli, Gyokeres
Subs: Arrizabalaga, Setford, Mosquera, Timber, Calafiori, Norgaard, Nwaneri, Rice, Saka, Eze, Dowman
Olympiacos
