Arsenal eye move to sign Prince Amoako Junior

By on September 17, 2025

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing FC Nordsjaelland forward Prince Amoako Junior, as per transfer journalist Graeme Bailey.

After ranking through the Right to Dream academy, the 18-year-old moved to the Danish side at the beginning of this year. He has enjoyed a stellar start in the Danish Superliga, scoring four goals and registering a solitary assist in eight appearances this season.

The Ghanaian even netted against Royal Antwerp in a friendly game ahead of the campaign. Now, on TBR Football, Bailey says that although the youngster has had a brief spell in Europe thus far, he has already started attracting the attention of numerous big teams.

Arsenal are interested in Price Junior and have been keeping a close eye on his development before making a potential swoop.

Apart from the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Brighton, and Brentford have also been keeping a close eye on him.

Other than the English clubs, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Olympique de Marseille are in this race as well. Some clubs, perhaps Arsenal are one of them, are already planning to sign him in the upcoming winter window.

Prince Junior to Arsenal

The Ghanaian is a right-footed left-winger and could be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal with a view to the long-term future should they purchase him.

Mikel Arteta has showcased his ability to develop young players during his time at the Emirates Stadium. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard have flourished in their careers under the Spaniard’s tutelage.

Now, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, and Max Dowman are the next in line, and Arteta has been giving them the necessary playing time to reach their full potential.

So, if Prince Junior decides to join Arsenal, he would get the benefits of developing under Arteta’s coaching. However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually opt to secure his services.

Meanwhile, following the midweek Champions League assignment against Athletic Club, Arsenal will have to shift focus to the Premier League once again as they will face off against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
