ARSENAL

Arsenal play their first home match of the 25/26 Premier League campaign as we take on Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

We kicked off the new season with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Manchester United last weekend. Riccardo Calafiori got the only goal of the game at Old Trafford to bring home the three points.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping for an improved display from his players today as we weren’t at our best last time out. The boss has made two changes from the side that started at Old Trafford.

David Raya keeps goal once again while Jurrien Timber coming in at right-back with Ben White not fully fit. William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue their excellent partnership together in the middle of Arsenal’s defence while Calafiori keeps his place ahead of Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back.

Martin Zubimendi starts in the holding and he’ll make his competitive debut at the Emirates having joined Arsenal in the summer. Declan Rice keeps his place in the middle of the park while Martin Odegaard captains Arsenal once again.

Bukayo Saka starts on the right wing and he’ll be looking to play a more influential part in today’s game after a fairly quiet outing against United.

Viktor Gyokeres leads the line up front and he’ll be hoping to find the back of the net on his home debut after a disappointing showing at Old Trafford.

Noni Madueke comes in to make his full debut with Gabriel Martinelli making way. Leandro Trossard is also on the bench along with youngsters Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri.
