Eberechi Eze tells friends he’s joining Arsenal

Arsenal have received a huge lift in their efforts to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, according to reports from TBR’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

The Gunners are eager to keep strengthening their squad and view Eze as a serious option to improve their attack.

The report claims that the 27-year-old has told his close friends that he is set to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

This development is being seen as a major boost for Arsenal, who now look well placed in the race for his signature.

Creative midfielder seen as ideal fit for Arteta’s system

Eze is a player admired by Mikel Arteta and the recruitment team. He can play as an attacking midfielder or on the left wing.

He scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions, including one in the FA Cup final as Palace secured their first major trophy.

His ability to create chances and unlock tight defences is seen as something Arsenal lacked at times last season.

The Crystal Palace man has a £68 million release clause, which Arsenal are now seriously considering activating.

Eze started his youth career at Arsenal before being released at a young age. A return would represent unfinished business for the England international.

He enjoyed a standout season with Crystal Palace, showing consistency, flair, and versatility in attack.

Arsenal have already made several moves in the market. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Nørgaard, Noni Madueke, and Cristhian Mosquera have all joined.

The club are also close to wrapping up a deal for Sporting forward Viktor Gyökeres, but Arteta is keen to bring in one more creative name.

Eze’s preference to join Arsenal now makes him a strong target heading into the final weeks of the window.
