Arsenal join race for Dortmund star Bynoe-Gittens
Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, as per reports from Fichajes.
The Gunners are looking to add more quality to their attack ahead of the new season.
They have been linked with several attacking players in recent weeks as Mikel Arteta aims to build a title-winning squad.
Arteta is determined to help Arsenal challenge for major trophies, and that drive is pushing him to search for top talents.
One of the names now on Arsenal’s radar is Bynoe-Gittens, who is attracting interest from several European clubs.
The 20-year-old has also been strongly linked with Chelsea, who have already made a move for the young winger.
Chelsea offer rejected as Arsenal enter the frame
Chelsea made an offer of £43 million to Borussia Dortmund for Bynoe-Gittens before the early summer deadline.
However, the Bundesliga side rejected the bid, showing they are not keen to lose the talented youngster easily.
Despite that, Arsenal have joined the race and may look to present a more convincing package.
Bynoe-Gittens had a strong season for Dortmund, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists in all competitions.
Even though Dortmund were inconsistent last season, the English winger stood out with his exciting performances.
He became one of the few bright sparks in a campaign where the team failed to maintain steady form.
The winger plays mainly from the left but enjoys cutting inside onto his stronger right foot.
He is known for his speed, flair, and ability to take on defenders in one-on-one situations.
His dribbling and quick feet make him difficult to defend against during fast breaks and wide plays.
Although his final pass and decision-making still need improvement, his overall talent and confidence are clear.
Arsenal are now considering whether to make a formal bid, as they look to add more depth and spark to their forward line.
The north London club believe that Bynoe-Gittens could offer something different on the flanks next season.
With his style of play and potential to grow, he could become a key part of Arteta’s long-term plans at the Emirates.
