Arsenal considering a move for Randal Kolo Muani
Arsenal are reportedly assessing a potential move for French forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Juventus from PSG according to TBR.
The Gunners have struggled in front of goal this season. Despite dealing with injuries, they chose not to sign an attacker during the winter transfer window.
Mikel Arteta reportedly turned down the chance to sign Kolo Muani in January before he joined Juventus.
However, Arsenal are now reconsidering a move for the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker.
Juventus do not have an option to make the loan deal permanent this summer.
With manager Thiago Motta sacked, Kolo Muani could reassess his future at the end of the season.
Motta was a key reason behind the striker’s move to Juventus. It remains unclear if Kolo Muani will want to stay in Turin without him.
Since arriving in Serie A, Kolo Muani has impressed. He became the first player this century to score five goals in his first three league games.
Premier League Clubs Monitoring Kolo Muani
According to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey Arsenal are one of several Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on Kolo Muani’s performances.
His representatives have opened communication lines with interested teams ahead of a potential move this summer.
The 26-year-old has delivered eight goal contributions in 11 appearances for Juventus since joining in January. This is a solid return for a player adjusting to a new league.
Kolo Muani is expected to be available for a much lower fee than the £77 million PSG paid for him. His current valuation is around £25 million, according to Transfermarkt.
The French forward is highly versatile. He can play as a center-forward or operate on either wing.
If Arsenal sign him, he could help ease the workload on Bukayo Saka. He would also provide more competition for Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, who have struggled for form this season, and he would also be another option up front.
Arsenal will need attacking reinforcements in the summer. With Kolo Muani’s availability, they may now see him as the right fit for their squad.
