Arsenal Eye Fiorentina’s Moise Kean for Summer Transfer
Arsenal Football Club has reportedly shifted its focus to Italian striker Moise Kean, according to reports from TuttoSport.
The Gunners were expected to strengthen their attacking options during the January transfer window but failed to do so. This has left the team with limited options upfront, creating an urgent need for reinforcements in the summer and Kean has emerged as a target.
The 24-year-old forward has been in fine form this season, scoring 15 goals in 22 league appearances for Fiorentina. His impressive performances have now attracted interest from Arsenal as they look to bolster their frontline ahead of the new season.
Kean, who has previously played in the Premier League, shares the same agent, Alessandro Lucci, as his fellow Italian international and Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori. This existing relationship could potentially smoothen negotiations between the club and the player’s camp.
Moise Kean to Arsenal?
According to the report, Moise Kean is valued at £43 million, and Arsenal could make a move for him in the summer.
After failing to strengthen their attack in January, the Gunners are expected to prioritize reinforcements in that area in the summer transfer window.
In addition to Kean, Arsenal have been linked with other forwards, including Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. However, it remains unclear whether Kean would lead the attack or simply add depth to Arsenal’s forward line.
Kean, who spent four years with Everton before returning to Juventus, is believed to be open to a return to the Premier League. The striker is likely to relish the opportunity to prove himself once again in English football.
Meanwhile, Arsenal continues their training camp in Dubai as they prepare for the final stretch of the Premier League season. The Gunners remain determined to push for the league title and will return to action in their next game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
The summer transfer window could be crucial for Arsenal as they aim to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest level next season. All eyes will now be on Moise Kean and whether he could be the player to solve Arsenal’s attacking concerns.
