Confirmed line-ups: Forest vs Arsenal – Partey & Trossard start for Gunners
Arsenal need a win to keep our slim title hopes alive when we take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this evening.
Mikel Arteta has made a couple of changes from the side that lost 3-0 to Brighton last weekend but Aaron Ramsdale keeps his place between the stick today. Ben White also continues at right-back in the absence of Takehiro Tomiyasu – who won’t play again this season due to a knee injury.
Jacub Kiwior gets another start at the heart of Arsenal’s defence as he partners Gabriel with William Saliba out with a back injury still. Kieran Tierney drops to the bench as it looks like Granit Xhaka will be starting at left-back this evening. Oleksandr Zinchenko has been ruled out of the last two games with a calf injury.
Thomas Partey is recalled to start in midfield alongside Jorginho while Martin Odegaard captains Arsenal once again this evening.
Bukayo Saka lines-up on the right side of attack while Gabriel Jesus leads the line up front for Arsenal. Gabriel Martinelli won’t play in our last two games after picking up a nasty ankle injury against Brighton. Therefore, Leandro Trossard is recalled to start on the left flank.
These are the teams for the game:
Nottingham Forest
Navas, Worrall, Felipe, Niakhate, Aurier, Mangala, Yates, Lodi, Gibbs-White, Danilo, Awoniyi
Subs: Hennessey, Toffolo, Surridge, Johnson, Kouyate, Freuler, Dennis, Boly, Ayew
Arsenal
