Arsenal can regain top spot in the Premier League with a win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

Mikel Arteta has handed a shock start to January signing Jacub Kiwior as Rob Holding is axed to the bench. The youngster starts alongside Gabriel at the head of Arsenal’s defence.

Aaron Ramsdale continues between the sticks while Oleksandr Zinchenko keeps his place at left-back meaning Kieran Tierney misses out once again. Ben White starts at right-back with Takehiro Tomiyasu out injured.

Jorginho is handed a recall to start in midfield against his former club while Martin Odegaard captains Arsenal once again in the attacking midfield role. Granit Xhaka keeps his place so it’s Thomas Partey who drops to the bench.

Bukayo Saka keeps his place on the right wing and he’ll be looking to get back to his best form. Leandro Trossard is recalled in attack while Gabriel Jesus keeps his place up front so it’s Gabriel Martinelli who has to make do with a place on the bench.

For Chelsea, Frank Lampard has opted to hand Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a start against his former club.
