Arsenal can restore their eight point lead at the top of the table with a win over Liverpool at Anfield this afternoon.

Unfortunately, William Saliba misses out once again due to an ongoing back injury so Rob Holding keeps his place alongside Gabriel at the heart of Arsenal’s back four. Ben White continues at right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko keeps his place at left-back ahead of Kieran Tierney.

Aaron Ramsdale obviously starts in goal for Arsenal while Thomas Partey anchors the midfield once again. Granit Xhaka will be looking to maintain his excellent form as he starts in midfield along with Martin Odegaard – who captains the side today.

Bukayo Saka returns to the starting eleven after recovering from the illness that saw him start from the bench last weekend. Gabriel Martinelli also keeps his place and he’ll be looking to build on his terrific display last week.

Gabriel Jesus starts up front for Arsenal so Leandro Trossard has to settle for a place on the bench. Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson are also among the substitutes.

As for Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right-back while Fabinho is joined by Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones in midfield. Mohamed Salah lines-up on the right flank and supports Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota in attack.

These are the line-ups:

Arsenal

Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey; Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Martinelli; Jesus

Subs: Turner, Tierney, Smith Rowe, Kiwior, Trossard, Jorginho, Vieira, Nelson, Walters.
