Arsenal can secure their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League with victory over PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium.

As expected, Mikel Arteta has rotated his squad once again with number two goalkeeper Matt Turner recalled to start between the sticks. Aaron Ramsdale is given a rest ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Southampton.

Rob Holding is also recalled to start in the Arsenal defence. Kieran Tierney comes in at left-back with Takehiro Tomiyasu moving to right-back. Gabriel keeps his place in the middle of defence so Ben White and William Saliba drop out.

Albert Sambi Lokonga is given another chance to impress as he replaces Thomas Partey in midfield this evening. The Ghanaian international is rested but Granit Xhaka starts once again for Arsenal in midfield.

Fabio Vieira is recalled to start with Martin Odegaard dropping out but Arteta has decided to start Gabriel Jesus in attack. Gabriel Martinelli is only deemed fit for the bench after missing training with illness so Jesus starts his first Europa League game of the season.

Eddie Nketiah still returns but may be deployed from the wing with Bukayo Saka starting on the opposite flank. Reiss Nelson and Marquinhos have to settle for places on the bench tonight.
