Arsenal predicted line-up against AFC Bournemouth

Arsenal will travel to Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening in order to go head-to-head against the newly-promoted side AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Gunners have enjoyed a bright start to the campaign after winning back-to-back games against Crystal Palace and Leicester City with the scoreline of 2-0 and 4-2 respectively.

Mikel Arteta’s side and Manchester City are the only two teams in the league so far this season who have enjoyed an unblemished start to the new campaign.

Meanwhile, after kick-starting their return to the top-flight with a victory against Aston Villa, Bournemouth failed to keep their winning run going and endured a devastating 4-0 loss against Pep Guardiola’s side last weekend. Therefore, the Cherries will be looking to bounce back immediately against Arsenal in front of their home fans tomorrow.

Arsenal expected line-up against Bournemouth

Arteta would not want to break his winning combination and is expected to go with the same eleven against Bournemouth which is unbeaten in the first two fixtures.

So, Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal and in front of the Englishman, Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães and Oleksandr Zinchenko should be the back four for Arsenal.

Kieran Tierney has come off the bench in the last two games and he could be fit enough to start. However, it’s unlikely that in-form fullback Zinchenko would be dropped from the starting Xi in this encounter.

On the other hand, Takehiro Tomiyasu also returned to action last Saturday against Leicester City, replacing Ben White in the second half. However, Arteta wouldn’t want to rush the Japanese back, given he just recovered from a long-term muscle injury. So, the 23-years-old will star on the bench tomorrow.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will continue in midfield for Arsenal this weekend. The Switzerland international will have the license to roam around the pitch and go forward, while the Ghanaian will sit back and protect the back four. Martin Odegaard will have the responsibility to create chances for the forwards from the attacking midfield position.

Meanwhile, after recovering from a minor injury issue, Emile Smith Rowe played the final few minutes against the Foxes last weekend and featured in midweek’s U21 game against Swansea City. But, he is not expected to start in this fixture.

Summer signing Fabio Vieira has been out throughout the summer due to an ankle issue. But, he has recovered from his injury and featured in the midweek youth fixture along with Smith Rowe, so he could be on the bench at Bournemouth.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli will be the front three once again for Arsenal. While the two Brazilians have started their new campaign brilliantly, Saka hasn’t managed to make his mark yet and will be keen on breaking his duck in this fixture.
