Arsenal welcome Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon for our first home game of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Aaron Ramsdale keeps goal once again after establishing himself as Arsenal’s undisputed No.1. Oleksandr Zinchenko keeps his place at left-back after impressing on his competitive debut during the 2-0 win at Crystal Palace last time out. That means Kieran Tierney has to settle for a place on the bench once again.

William Saliba made himself undroppable following his Man of the Match performance at Selhurst Park so he starts alongside Gabriel at the heart of defence. Ben White, therefore, continues at right-back with Takehiro Tomiyasu among the Arsenal substitutes after recovering from injury.

Thomas Partey once again lines-up alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield for the Gunners with captain Martin Odegaard also keeping his place. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli start on the wings once again following their impressive displays against Palace.

Gabriel Jesus was electric on his competitive debut last weekend, especially in the first half, and he’ll be looking to get his first Premier League goal in Arsenal colours today.

Emile Smith Rowe is back on the bench after returning to fitness while Eddie Nketiah and Nicolas Pepe are other options for Arteta to call upon. However, the match still comes too soon for Fabio Vieira.

Here are the line-ups:
