White out | How Arsenal should line-up vs Everton

Arsenal take on Everton at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season. This is the line-up I’d like to see Mikel Arteta select for the match…

It’s safe to say the risk of playing Gabriel, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu against Newcastle United back-fired. None looked 100% fit, especially Gabriel and White.

Tomiyasu limped off with a hamstring issue and it appears we pushed him too much since his return from calf problems. The Japan international hasn’t trained this week so isn’t expected to be available, meaning Cedric Soares will start at right-back.

It looks like White and Gabriel took part in training today but I don’t think we need to risk both of them tomorrow as Rob Holding is available again after serving his suspension. Reports suggest that Gabriel is the most likely to start alongside Holding.

Nuno Tavares has divided opinion this season. There is no doubt he’s still raw and probably not ready to play regular first team football for Arsenal yet. But with Kieran Tierney still out, he should keep his place tomorrow.

Thomas Partey returned to full training today but he won’t be available for our last game of the season so Mohamed Elneny should line-up alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield.

There is an argument that Albert Sambi Lokonga deserves some minutes but there is still an outside chance we could snatch fourth, so we can’t risk the youngster.

Martin Odegaard should keep his place in the attacking midfield position for Arsenal while Bukayo Saka should obviously start once again in attack, and we’ll need them linking-up effectively tomorrow.

On the left side of attack, I hope Gabriel Martinelli starts with Emile Smith Rowe on the bench. ESR was poor [like most of his team mates] against Newcastle and Martinelli just adds so much more energy to our attack.

Eddie Nketiah should lead the line again up front with Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe on the bench. This could be the final game in an Arsenal shirt for all three but I hope Arteta manages to persuade Nketiah to sign a new contract.

Here is the side I hope we see:

If Thomas is available he can play and Eleneny can restore he starts Thomas Parttey comes in later after all this is the last match of the season and anyone who is not fine can indicate before the march start many players are greedy they don’t want to rest so that a better healthy player will play moat the matches were Lost because of that and the also over reliance on a particular player sometimes that player you don’t trust can perform more than the one you trust really a coach will have his best 11 but sometimes you add two or one if the need be to refresh the players our match with Newcastle was lost because of fatigue nothing less than that the next season will soon start you try your players in different position by so doing you can find his best wing that is the essence of preseason let’s do the best in bringing the best out of our players as wish you guys the best tomorrow
