Arsenal will be looking to reclaim fourth place with a positive result away to Crystal Palace tonight.

We’ve received a welcome boost as Aaron Ramsdale is recalled between the sticks after making a swift recovery from a hip injury that had kept him out of the win at Aston Villa last time out. Bernd Leno drops out despite keeping a clean sheet at Villa Park.

Kieran Tierney is ruled out with a knee problem so Nuno Tavares is recalled to start at left-back while Ben White and Gabriel continue their flourishing partnership in the middle of Arsenal’s defence.

Takehiro Tomiyasu still isn’t involved in the squad despite returning to full training following a calf injury. Therefore, Cedric Soares continues at right-back this evening.

Thomas Partey anchors the midfield once again and he’ll be looking to continue his excellent recent form. Granit Xhaka also keeps his place in the middle of the park along with the ever-impressive Martin Odegaard.

Bukayo Saka is fit to start on the right flank for Arsenal after overcoming a bout of covid which had ruled him out of duty with England during the international break.

Alexandre Lacazette leads the line up front while Gabriel Martinelli returns after missing the Villa game through illness. The Brazilian is named on the bench so Emile Smith Rowe keeps his place in attack.

Nicolas Pepe is out due to illness so we don’t have too many experienced attacking options from the bench to call upon.

Here are the line-ups for the game:

Arsenal

Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tavares, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Smith Rowe, Lacazette.

Subs: Leno, Holding, Ogungbo, Swanson, Lokonga, Elneny, Martinelli, Flores, Nketiah

Crystal Palace

Guaita, Clyne, Guehi, Andersen, Mitchell, Kouyate, Schlupp, Gallagher, Ayew, Mateta, Zaha.

Subs: Butland, Ward, Milivojevic, Tomkins, Eze, Hughes, McArthur, Benteke, Edouard.
