Arsenal can tighten their grip on fourth spot with a win over Leeds United at Elland Road this evening and Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged line-up for the game.
Aaron Ramsdale once again keeps goal for Arsenal while the back four is unchanged with Takehiro Tomiyasu continuing at right-back following an excellent start to life in north London. Kieran Tierney keeps his spot at left-back ahead of Nuno Tavares while Ben White continues alongside Gabriel at the heart of defence.
Granit Xhaka is back fully fit after making a swift return from injury and he lines-up alongside Thomas Partey in midfield this evening. Albert Sambi Lokonga misses the game after testing positive for Covid.
Bukayo Saka starts on the right flank for Arsenal once again while Alexandre Lacazette leads the line up front in the continued absence of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon hitman has been frozen out of the squad and won’t play for the club until after the AFCON in January – if at all.
Gabriel Martinelli is fit to keep his place in the Arsenal attack despite picking up a knock in midweek. Emile Smith Rowe therefore has to make-do with a place among the substitutes.
Bernd Leno returns to the bench after recovering from a groin injury and he’s joined by the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Eddie Nketiah and Rob Holding. Albert
These are the teams for the game:
Arsenal
