Arsenal welcome Watford to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon looking to build on their recent good run of form.

Aaron Ramsdale continues in goal after putting in a superb MOTM performance against Leicester City last week while Takehiro Tomiyasu keeps his place at right-back ahead of Cedric Soares.

Ben White starts alongside Gabriel once again in the heart of Arsenal’s defence while Nuno Tavares keeps his place at left-back despite Kieran Tierney returning to the squad after recovering from injury.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is given a chance to impress alongside Albert Sambi Lokonga in midfield with Thomas Partey ruled out of the game with a groin injury.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts up front again for Arsenal while Alexandre Lacazette keeps his place so Martin Odegaard has to settle for a place among the substitutes this afternoon.

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe start on the flank for the Gunners with Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah all attacking options from the bench.
