Arsenal desperately need a win when we take on Leicester City at the King Power at lunchtime.
Mikel Arteta has fielded a weakened team for the game with key men such as Bukayo Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabriel, Thomas Partey and Hector Bellerin all rested following the Europa League win over Benfica.
Cedric Soares starts in defence along with Pablo Mari, David Luiz and Kieran Tierney with Rob Holding joining Bellerin on the bench. Mohamed Elneny comes in for Dani Ceballos to partner Granit Xhaka in midfield with Partey among the subs.
Emile Smith Rowe starts again but Martin Odegaard is rested with Nicolas Pepe recalled in the Arsenal attack. Willian is also selected ahead of Gabriel Martinelli – which will understandably anger some Arsenal fans.
With Auba rested, Alexandre Lacazette is recalled to start up front. I understand why Arteta has selected this line-up but with it he’s basically admitting the Premier League campaign is over for us. All our eggs are now in the Europa League basket.
These are the line-ups for the game:
Arsenal
Leno; Cedric, Luiz, Mari, Tierney; Xhaka, Elneny; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Willian; Lacazette
Subs: Ryan, Holding, Bellerin, Partey, Ceballos, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Aubameyang
Leicester
Schmeichel, Castagne, Evans, Soyuncu, Thomas, Ricardo Pereira, Ndidi, Tielemans, Barnes, Iheanacho, Vardy
Subs: Albrighton, Ward, Amartey, Under, Choudhury, Mendy, Fuchs, Daley-Campbell, Tavares
