[Image] Willock starts, no Laca or Willian – My 4-3-3 Arsenal line-up vs Leeds Utd

Arsenal take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. This is the team I’d like to see Mikel Arteta select for the game…

Bernd Leno will start in goal, obviously, but I hope we see Arteta go with a back four as the back three is killing us. Kieran Tierney is such a threat down the left flank and he’s wasted playing on the left side of a three so let’s start him in his best position.

Hector Bellerin should keep his place at right-back while I’d go with David Luiz alongside Gabriel in the middle of defence. Rob Holding is another option but he struggled against Villa last time out.

In midfield, Thomas Partey has been ruled out with a thigh injury – which is a huge blow for Arsenal – and Mohamed Elneny is also missing after testing positive for covid-19 during the international break so there will be changes in midfield.

With the switch in formation it means Arsenal will be able to field an extra man in the middle of the park and I’d go with Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos. Joe Willock also deserves a chance after impressing in the Europa League.

Arsenal have been pretty woeful going forward for much of the season so it’s time Arteta released the handbrake and I think it’s finally time he started Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang through the middle.

Our best player has been a shadow of his former self stuck out on the wing and he’s just not getting enough chances. Plus, Alexandre Lacazette is bang out of form right now so let’s play Auba up front tomorrow.

Laca and Eddie Nketiah can be options from the bench while I’d also leave Willian out against Leeds. He’s been shocking recently and Nicolas Pepe deserves a start on the right.

With Auba up top, Bukayo Saka could start in his best position on the left wing. I think my side looks far more balanced and it should hopefully give us more creativity going forward. Let’s just hope the defence holds it together!

This would be my line-up:

no issue with front 3, no issue with back 4 but i do have a problem with xhaka as he will get over run in the first half and sent off in the second half, as his lack of speed will force him to constantly foul, so i would change for smith roe

Good lineup. I really hope we don’t see 3 at the back, or Willian. Arteta needs to put his money where his mouth is and play those players that play well and get results. You freeze out Ozil but play Willian repeatedly no matter how badly he plays. How does Willian start over Ozil or even Maitland-Niles?

Shockingly bad signing that one. Whose bright idea was it to sign someone on astronomical wages who wasn’t even a premier league starter last season. Not only is he not good enough to improve the squad in any way shape or form, he’s bankrupting the club.

Inconceivable that you block Ozil completely–who can still create bags of sorely-needed chances–and then turn around and play Willian instead, someone who can’t create chances to save his life. Stop insisting on starting players who haven’t earned their place and stop playing one-dimensional, hyper-defensive football that is so toothless and predictable. FFS our players might as well lie down and let the opposition run over them. Pointless to play this game if your plan is not to pose a threat and just turtle in the 18-yard box.

ARTETA! Wake up! Stop playing favourites and play your best ACTUAL performers. Play balanced football, there’s nothing to defend if you don’t score goals! You are destroying everyone’s confidence. Stop showing our opponents so much respect. We’re practically Prostrate in the dirt before them! They should fear our attack, not make jokes that we’re incapable of doing it. We should be winning 4-0 against teams like Villa.

I understand Arteta needs time, but obvious errors and stupidity are still going to be received very poorly from fans. Wake the F up.

Surely arteta had proved good at start but now he needs may be a reflesher course for selecting a team that must win. Pple we are losing hope in him why can’t he consecutively win at least three matches. I believe we don’t have a bad squad. But with him learning from past mistakes is capable of making it.

Need a back four and a good player maker. Arsenal lacking good play maker which can defend and feed the front line. If not . Forget about top 4

Arteta is behaving same way as Emery. He is arrogant and not looking for club. Willian is total waste. He should play with Pepe in front and Maitland Niels in the back. Without Özil all Frontline players are useless. No chance created. Arteta must think for club not to focus on politics.

We have a lot of best players on league but what we lack is a best coach to reach playing objectives.
