Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Sheffield United: Laca & Xhaka benched, Saka starts
Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when we welcome Sheffield United to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
Mikel Arteta has made some changes from the side that beat Liverpool on penalties in midweek with David Luiz returning in defence to start alongside Kieran Tierney and Gabriel. Rob Holding
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is recalled to start in attack along with Willian – who starts from the right wing. Alexandre Lacazette must make do with a place on the bench along with Nicolas Pepe as Eddie Nketiah leads the line up front.
Granit Xhaka is given a rest so Mohamed Elneny starts in midfield alongside Dani Ceballos while Hector Bellerin and Bukayo Saka occupy the wide positions. Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock are named as subs for Arsenal.
There is no place for Sead Kolasinac in the matchday squad amid reports he’s set for a move to Germany while Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi continue to be frozen out by Arteta.
Here are the teams:
Arsenal
Leno, Gabriel, Luiz, Tierney, Bellerin, Ceballos, Elneny, Saka, Willian, Aubameyang, Nketiah
Subs: Runarsson, Holding, Maitland-Niles, Willock, Xhaka, Pepe, Lacazette
Sheffield United
Ramsdale, Basham, Egan, Robinson, Baldock, Lundstram, Berge, Osborn, Stevens, McGoldrick, Burke
Subs: Foderingham, Fleck, McBurnie, Sharp, Lowe, Ampadu, Norwood.

Bellerin has been fairly dreadful so far this Season and I would rather see AMN taking his place. His main asset was always his pace and since his return from injury this now seems to have deserted him.His inability to get up and down the right side of the pitch seems to often leave him in “no man’s land” when defending…and frankly someone who can’t even take a throw in properly needs to be sold and not appear as a first team regular.
