Confirmed line-ups: Liverpool vs Arsenal – Gabriel, Ceballos & Pepe start
Arsenal are back at Anfield to take on Liverpool for the second time in a matter of days as we do-battle in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Mikel Arteta has mixed things up with Gabriel joining Rob Holding in defence so David Luiz and Kieran Tierney drop to the bench. Cedric Soares and Sead Kolasinac also get recalls and it looks like Arsenal may line-up with a back four this evening.
Dani Ceballos starts in midfield along with Granit Xhaka and Joe Willock while Nicolas Pepe starts in attack along with Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets a rest but Alexandre Lacazette is named on the bench along with Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Liverpool have named a mixed side as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and James Milner all start while Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Takumi Minamino all get chances to impress for the hosts.
Here are the teams:
Arsenal
Leno, Cedric, Holding, Gabriel, Kolasinac, Ceballos, Willock, Xhaka, Pepe, Nketiah, Saka
Subs: Runarsson, David Luiz, Tierney, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Lacazette
Liverpool
Adrian, N. Williams, R. Williams, Van Dijk, Milner, Grujic, Jones, Wilson, Salah, Jota, Minamino.
Subs: Kelleher, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Gomez, Robertson, Origi, Elliott

How dreadful must Saliba look in training to mean that Arteta continues to play Kolasinac…and more to the point he cant even make the Carabao squad. At the same time both of the extremely limited abilities of both Holding and Cedric get another run-out.It will be interesting to see whether this team can be both more expressive and “forward thinking against this second string Liverpool team.
