Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal v Tottenham – Ozil not in squad, Ramsey starts
Arsenal welcome Tottenham to the Emirates tonight in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Emery has named a strong line-up with Sokratis returning to what looks like a back four. Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Nacho Monreal start while it appears Granit Xhaka will be at centre-back with Laurent Koscielny rested. Shkodran Mustafi doesn’t make it.
There is no Mesut Ozil in the matchday squad with the club saying he’s been left out for ‘tactical reasons’ but Aaron Ramsey does get a recall to start with Alex Iwobi in attack. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line up front.
These are the teams:
Arsenal
Cech, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Xhaka, Monreal, Torreira, Guendouzi, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Iwobi, Aubameyang
Subs: Martinez, Koscielny, Lichtsteiner, Elneny, Willock, Lacazette, Nketiah
Tottenham
