Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has won the Premier League Player of the Month award after scoring five goals in October.

The Gabon international came off the bench to score a classy brace during our 5-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage before scoring another two goals off the bench during the 3-1 win over Leicester City – including one stunning team effort that will go down as one of the goals of the season.

Aubameyang capped a fine October with another strike during the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurt Park to make it five goals in three Premier League matches during the month.

He has now been confirmed as the Premier League Player of the Month after beating off competition from Ross Barkley, Fernandinho, Anthony Martial, Mat Ryan and Callum Wilson to the award.

Big congratulations to Aubameyang and it was fully deserved. The 29-year-old has found his goal-scoring touch in recent weeks and he’s played a key part in Arsenal superb 15-match unbeaten run.

It makes it a double for Arsenal as Aaron Ramsey won the Goal of the Month for October following his wonderful goal following a flowing team move during the win at Fulham.
