Teams: Sporting Lisbon v Arsenal: Ramsey captain, Xhaka starts at left-back
Arsenal are in Portugal ahead of our Europa League group stage encounter with Sporting Lisbon this evening and we can put one foot in the knockout stages with a win.
As expected, Unai Emery has made some changes to his starting eleven with Aaron Ramsey coming in to captain the side while Danny Welbeck supports Pierre-Emerick Aubemayng – who replaces Alexandre Lacazette up front.
It looks like Granit Xhaka will start at left-back having filled-in in that position during the final 30 minutes on Monday night while Sokratis comes back in to the side after recovering from an ankle injury.
These are the teams:
Sporting Lisbon
Ribeiro; Ristovski, Coates, André Pinto, Acuña; Petrovic, Gudelj, Battaglia, Bruno Fernandes; Nani, Montero.
Subs: Salin, Mane, Mathieu, Diaby, Gaspar, Jovane Cabral, Miguel Luis
Arsenal
Leno, Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Holding, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Elneny, Ramsey, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Welbeck.
Subs: Martinez, Lacazette, Ozil, Torreira, Iwobi, Mustafi, Jenkinson
