[Photos] Cazorla & Lacazette all smiles as Wenger says goodbye at last training session
Arsene Wenger has taken charge of his last ever training session as Arsenal manager ahead of our final Premier League game at Huddersfield Town tomorrow.
The Frenchman will end his 22-year reign as Arsenal manager following Sunday’s clash at the John Smiths Stadium and it’s sure to be an emotional afternoon.
Wenger got the send-off he deserved at the Emirates following a 5-0 win over Burnley last weekend but he’ll say his final goodbye’s to the away fans tomorrow and he’s now taken charge of his last training session.
The players were put through their paces by Wenger and his coaching staff for the final time this afternoon and the boss has been photographed saying a few words to the squad at London Colney.
It seems the session was an enjoyable one, despite the impending departure of our long-serving manager, as the likes of Santi Cazorla and Alexandre Lacazette were all smiles on the training pitch today.
It’s a great sight to see Santi with a ball at his feet again after a gruelling 18 months on the sidelines with a career-threatening Achilles injury but unfortunately the Huddersfield game will come too soon for him.
Cazorla is out of contract in June so this could be his final official training session with Arsenal as it remains to be seen whether he’ll be offered an extension.
Jack Wilshere may also have kicked his last ball at London Colney as his contract is up next month while Per Mertesacker certainly took part in his final session ahead of his retirement.

I hope the coaches short listed is a reality.Among them ,I hope that the best one will be chosen and the right financial strength will be available and at the right time for the right players to be bought.
