[Photos] Arsenal star gets embarrassed by team-mate as players train ahead of Newcastle
The Arsenal players made their final preparations on the training pitch today ahead of Sunday’s trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle.
Arsene Wenger is expected to rotate his starting eleven following our 2-2 draw with CSKA Moscow in the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night.
We don’t play again until the visit of West Ham next weekend but I still expected the boss to rest a few key players with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Granit Xhaka, Sead Kolasinac and Calum Chambers all pushing for recalls.
Alexandre Lacazette is among the players likely to be rested tomorrow and the striker was left red faced by Hector Bellerin in training today after being nut-megged by his team-mate.
Arsenal photographer Stuart MacFarlane poked fun at Lacazette after sharing some photos of the incident on Twitter and the striker responded by claiming he got a touch.
So it seems the squad are in good spirits heading to the north-east tomorrow and they should be as we go in to the game unbeaten in our last seven matches in all competitions [W6 D1].
