Video: CSKA Moscow 2-2 Arsenal: Gunners fightback to seal semi-final spot 6-3 on agg
Arsenal made hard work of things after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with CSKA Moscow tonight and book our place in the last four 6-3 on aggregate.
After a relatively comfortable opening to the game, Arsenal fell behind as Chalov reacted quickest to poke home after Cech had made a great save to deny Nababkin in the 40th minute.
Replay’s showed Mustafi switched off yet again and allowed Chalov the time and space to score unchallenged.
Things got worse early in the second half as CSKA made it 2-0 in the 50th minute when Nababkin fired home after Cech had only parried a long range strike.
CSKA were pushing for the third goal that would knock us out but the nerves were eased when Welbeck scored a superb goal in the 75th minute to make it 2-1 – 3-5 on aggregate.
Arsenal then claimed a 2-2 draw in injury time as Ramsey raced clear to score the equaliser and book our place in the semi-finals 6-3 on aggregate.
Here are the goals:
