Another dire second half performance cost Arsenal as our top four hopes look over following a 1-0 defeat at Tottenham today.

Here are my ratings:

Cech  8/10 | Great save to deny Kane, another fine tip from an Eriksen free-kick and superb low save to stop Lamela making it 2-0. Kept us in the game but did have a few nervy moments with the ball at his feet.

Ballerin  6/10 | Very good in the first half but caught up-field way too often as he left big gaps at the back for Spurs to exploit.

Mustafi  6/10 | Couldn’t get a grip of Kane in the second half and his passing out from the back was poor.

Koscielny  6/10 | Solid in the first half but lost out to Kane for the opening goal.

Monreal  6/10 | Put in a decent shift defensively but wasn’t able to influence the game going forward.

Elneny  6/10 | Didn’t really put a foot wrong and kept things simple but too limited to be a vital part of our team.

Xhaka  5/10 | Another ineffective performance from Xhaka. No idea what he’s bringing to this team anymore.

Ozil  5/10 | Couldn’t get on the ball enough to make anything of note happen. Missed a couple of key passes when he was well placed. Not his afternoon.

Wilshere  6/10 | Forced a decent save from Lloris and added a bit of passion to an otherwise low-key Arsenal performance.

Mkhitaryan  4/10 | As good as he was last week, Henrikh was woeful today. Passing was shocking and couldn’t influence the game at all.

Aubameyang  6/10 | Unlucky to be denied a clear run on goal with an incorrect offside call at 0-0. His pace caused Spurs a couple of problems but starved of service for much of the game.

Subs:

Iwobi  4/10 | Shocking sub appearance. Lost the ball countless times.

Lacazette  4/10 | Killed a couple of attacks with needless offsides. Blazed a great chance on the volley well over the bar before dragging a golden chance to snatch a point wide of the post. This isn’t going to help his confidence.

Welbeck N/A

Overall, we were solid in the first half, the incorrect Aubameyang offside call at 0-0 proved costly and we were shocking in the second half. The scoreline could have easily been 3 or 4-0 but Lacazette missed a great chance to take home a point.

Top four looks over now, so let’s concentrate on the Europa League starting away to Ostersunds on Thursday…
