Arsenal thrashed BATE Borisov 6-0 at the Emirates this evening to end our Europa League campaign in style.

Mathieu Debuchy, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere all got on the score-sheet to put us in control at half-time before an own goal and further strikes from Olivier Giroud [penalty] and Mohamed Elneny completed the rout in the second half.

Here are my ratings:

Ospina  6/10 | A total bystander. Only made a few catches and won’t get an easier night’s work.

Debuchy  7/10 | Superb strike to open the scoring and didn’t put a foot wrong. Good to see him getting back to form.

Chambers  6.5/10 | An easy game for Calum. Not overly worked by a limited BATE side but didn’t let the side down.

Holding  6.5/10 | See above.

Maitland-Niles  6.5/10 | A bit quieter than in previous outings. Probably because he was deployed in an unfamiliar left-back position but he went about his business well.

Elneny  7/10 | Scored a rare goal with a curling effort. Tidy in possession in the middle of the park.

Coquelin  7/10 | I’m usually hard on Coquelin but he was probably at his level tonight. Did well in midfield.

Wilshere  8/10 | Played a few lovely passes and lashed home our third goal with a wonderful strike. Grabbed an assist for Elneny’s goal and pulled the strings all game. Great performance.

Walcott  8.5/10 | Superb display. Set up the opener, tidy finish to make it 2-0 in the first half, his cross led to the fourth goal after the break and he won the penalty. Great to see a more positive performance from Theo.

Welbeck  7/10 | Almost got among the goals but was denied by a fine save. Still looked a little rusty at times but was always involved.

Giroud  7.5/10 | Got himself on the score-sheet with a retaken penalty and was a focal point up front.

Nelson, Nketiah, Willock  5/10 | Good to see the youngsters get a run out late on.

So we finished off the Europa League group stages in style and we’ll find out who we get in the last-32 on Monday. Next up, Southampton away….
