[Tweets] Arsenal shareholder mocks Spurs fans after Gunners secure 2-0 NLD win
Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan Piers Morgan took to Twitter to mock Tottenham fans as we eased to a 2-0 victory in the North London Derby this afternoon.
First half goals from Shkdoran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez sealed a fully deserved 2-0 victory as we claimed the bragging rights and moved to within one point of second-placed Man Utd.
Well-known journalist and TV presenter Morgan is a life-long Arsenal fan, holds shares in the club and is a long-time season ticket holder at the Emirates.
Morgan was at the stadium this afternoon and he took to Twitter to mock Tottenham fans heading for the exit during the closing stages of the game as we eased to a much-needed derby win.
The 52-year-old is extremely vocal about Arsenal matters on Twitter and he’s known to very-much be in the #WengerOut camp but Morgan still praised the team for a ‘brilliant performance’ today.
It was certainly one of our best displays of the season and it was great to see the players working hard for the team and fighting for every ball. Let’s hope we can keep it up as we have to perform like that every week, not just against Spurs.
Check out what Morgan had to say on Twitter:

Absolutely brilliant performance. Every time I lose all hope, Arsenal go & do something like this and my Spurs-loathing spirits soar again. ?? #AFCvsTHFC pic.twitter.com/GO03D4DYqA
