Arsenal get back to Premier League action when we take on Swansea City at the Emirates this afternoon.

We booked our place in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup after beating Norwich in midweek [thanks to Eddie!] and are on course to qualifying for the knockout stages in the Europa League after winning away to Red Star last Thursday.

However, the focus today is firmly on the Premier League and we kept in touch with the top four after thrashing Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park last Sunday.

It was probably our best attacking display of the season so it’s important the players continue to build momentum with another impressive performance on home soil this afternoon.

We’ll be up against a Swansea side who sit 15th in the table after getting beaten by Leicester at home last week so we should be confident of picking up another victory today.

Team News

Arsene Wenger is expected to make wholesale changes to his team after resting all our first team regulars against Norwich in midweek so the side should be fresh.

We don’t have any new injury concerns to worry about so the squad is in very healthy shape but Danny Welbeck remains out with a groin injury while Shkodran Mustafi is also nursing a thigh problem.

Calum Chambers is back in light training but he won’t be under consideration today while David Ospina is also still out with a groin injury. Obviously Santi is still not available either.

As for Swansea, Martin Olsson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury so he joins Renato Sanchez, Kyle Bartley and Wilfried Bony on the sidelines.

Likely Line-Ups

Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal, Sead Kolasinac, Hector Bellerin, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka are all set for recalls today after being rested in midweek.

We should also see Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette start in attack together for the second time after the trio caused havoc against Everton last weekend.

Swansea: Fabianski, Clucas, Mawson, Fernandez, Van der Hoorn, Naughton, Fer, Ki, Carroll, Ayew, Abraham.

Match Prediction

It we attack like we did at Everton, then we should blow Swansea away. The trio up front were all excellent at Goodison Park and I’m looking forward to seeing them back in action this afternoon. The Swans have been something of a bogey team for us in recent years but we’ve been strong at home this season so I think we’ll secure a 3-1 win. Arsenal 3-1 Swansea
