Carabao Cup quarter final draw: Arsenal handed London derby
Arsenal have been drawn to face West Ham in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup after the draw was eventually conducted this evening.
We struggled to get past Norwich City in our fourth round tie as it took an equaliser from substitute Eddie Nketiah in the 85th minute to force extra-time after he tapped home with his first touch.
The 18-year-old sensation then booked our place in the last eight with what turned out to be the winning goal in the first half of extra-time as he headed home from a Mohamed Elneny corner.
We’ve now been rewarded with a tie against London rivals West Ham – who booked their place in the last eight after beating Tottenham 3-2 at Wembley last night.
The tie will be played at the Emirates on the week commencing 18th December.
Elsewhere, Man Utd drew Bristol [obviously], Chelsea will face Bournemouth while Man City are away to Leicester.
